Movies based on actual events: R films filtered out

For Christmas, my pops requested a list of movies that are based on a true story.  However, he didn't want any R rated movies on the list.

I found a nice Wikipedia article: a comprehensive List of films based on actual events.  Unfortunately, the ratings weren't noted on the list.  Fortunately, my hardy sisters were willing to roll up their sleeves with me to identify the ratings of all the movies on the list.  (we started in the 70's- I think the MPAA ratings began in 1968, and I'm guessing they didn't rate pre-1968 movies).  We listed the rating and the 1-2 line synopsis next to each (DK means "Don't Know"- we couldn't figure out what some were rated, especially the foreign films).

Below is our finished product: a list of G, PG, PG13, and DK movies based on a true story
