I was ordained an Elder in the Melchizedek priesthood by my father, D. Gordon Carmack, in April 2001.

D. Gordon Carmack:
Ordained an Elder by George Douglas Larsen, 18 May 1975.

George Douglas Larsen:
Ordained a High Priest by Walter Hick, 2 September 1970.

Walter Hick:
Ordained a High Priest by Delbert L. Stapley, 30 June 1965.

Delbert L. Stapley:
Ordained an Apostle by George Albert Smith, 5 October 1950.

George Albert Smith:
Ordained an Apostle by Joseph F. Smith, 8 October 1903.

Joseph F. Smith:
Ordained an Apostle by Brigham Young, 1 July 1866.

Brigham Young:
Ordained an apostle by Joseph Smith, 14 February 1835.

Joseph Smith:
Received Melchizedek priesthood either in June 1831, or more likely in the fall of 1829 from Peter, James, and John in the wilderness between Harmony, Susquehanna county, and Colesville, Broome county, on the banks of the Susquehanna river (see discussion).

Peter, James, and John:
Apostles and angelic ministers of their contemporary, the Lord Jesus Christ, who chose and ordained them.
